Buckle up people! This is going to be a long one. Sara and Jessie reached out to me shortly after getting engaged to ask me to shoot their engagement and wedding photos. We did their engagement session earlier this year at their cute little home in North Bend, WA. After hearing about the plans for their big day and seeing the love they had for one another, I just knew the wedding was going to be a blast! It turned out to be one for the books. an orchard wedding
The details were exquisite. From the handmade alter (?!) and ring box by the bride's father and the embroidered handkerchief from her mother, to the groom's father forgoing a speech to instead sing a song he wrote for his son - everything was personal and so well thought out. Lots of happy tears and laughs were had. The ceremony took place at The Orchard at Sunshine Hill, a beautiful, 40-acre cherry orchard nestled in the green, forested hills of Chehalis, WA. As a photographer, I couldn't have asked for a better backdrop. After the ceremony was when the party really got started and the band brought down the house. The crowd loved them so much they shouted for an encore. Dancing didn't stop until after dark, when the bride and groom were sent off by their guests for a ride around the farm in a vintage, 1957 Chevy pickup.
