The terrain in Iceland is beyond breathtaking & unique. I spent a ton of time in Iceland touring and finding all of the perfect places for an Iceland wedding. If you’re looking for a unique elopement package and with the best photo experience possible, this is it!

VIK ISLAND

In 1973 a US Navy C-117D crashed in Solheimasandur in Southern Iceland. It’s on this part of the coast that Iceland has its black sand beach. 

This has created a scenery that is beautiful and surreal. With the contrast of the white abandoned DC and the black sand, it will take your breathe away.

HOW IT WILL WORK

The first thing we will do is work together to select dates that work with both of our schedules and what type of experience you are looking for in Iceland. The way the area looks and feels changes so drastically depending on the time of year. So it’s important that we go over this first. 

Once we have dates decided and flights booked, I will work with you to determine the route and cities we will want to travel to, such as Reykjavik and Skogafoss! This way you are able to see all of the places that are most important to you based on my knowledge and experience of Iceland.

I'll put together a timeline for all of our stops and take into consideration the best times of day to see these beautiful places and be completely alone. 

​After I have the route and schedule planned out, I'll take care of all the accommodations for the trip - taking the planning, research, and stress out of your hands.

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO WORK AND TRAVEL WITH ME?

First of all, I'm a very go-with-the-flow and easy-going type of person.  Each day, I’ll go over the planned stops with you and adjust as needed.  

For each stop we discover or plan to visit, I leave it totally up to you how you would like to experience it. If you want to dress up in your wedding attire and spend most of your time at a certain spot, that’s what we will do!  

If you want to bundle up and simply take in a location for the beauty it is, I will drop you off to do just that.  If you want to wear your casual clothes and take some adventurous couple photos at a location, then that's what we will do!  

Each location is so unique, that I believe in doing what you feel in that exact moment. I will purposefully build your trip to be flexible and unforgettable.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Iceland is a unique environment with a certain style of accommodations.  Since we will be outside of the cities and exploring the more isolated parts of the country, accommodations will be very limited.  

This package is not going to be a 5-star hotel experience. It will be cold, we will be driving a lot, and depending on what you are up for each day, we may be hiking, climbing, and getting a little dirty. 

Gas, food, and hotels outside of the cities are hard to come by. I will plan your trip to include stops in local villages with bed & breakfasts, which are typically a small room with a bed and a shower, isolated in the mountains, and ensure that we are able to purchase meals to keep us going.

I'll take care of all the driving and planning.  We will be waking up at odd hours, and driving quite a bit.  Because I'm taking care of the trip, you are free to sleep along the way of course, or use this time to get yourself photo-ready.

If you would like to stay in Iceland longer than our 4 days together, I will help you to pick the perfect spot to spend the rest of your trip, and bring you there after our time together.  

If you want to spend time in the hot springs relaxing, or if you want to go check out the busy city of Reykjavik, I can help provide recommendations and accommodations to end your trip however you'd like.  

Getting to Europe after Iceland is also a great cheap option to extend your honeymoon to another location!
