Sam Rueter is an engaged local artist in Charleston, SC. Her work is absolutely stunning, well-curated, and uniquely feminine & empowering.  
I styled her in a simple white dress, and then topped it with two different layers to give textured sleeves, so you will see three different looks in these images, all revolving around the one dress. 
For this shoot, I also created a variety of floral arrangements including a cactus, succulent, and floral arranged hat.  Each floral was a little darker but consisting of bright reds or purples to give a deepness to the look.
One of the most special and unique pieces of this shoot are the cakes we collaborated on. I really wanted to incorporate some of Sam's abstract designs into the shoot and thought that this would be such a unique way to do so. I asked Sam if she would be interested in painting a cake if I made one and she said absolutely! She painted two different looks and together we decorated them with flowers, cacti, and succulents before the shoot.
