Whether you are planning a wedding with hundreds of guests or even if you are planning an elopement ceremony with just you and your significant other, things can get stressful fast.

There are so many things to plan for and keep in mind, but that’s ok, because I am here to help! Here are some commonly asked questions when you’re planning for the big day. Take a minute to read through these and feel free to reach out to me for any questions you have that aren't answered here!

WEDDING AND ELOPEMENT FAQ

DO you help with the elopement outside of taking photos?
Planning an elopement and making sure all of the details are taken care of can be overwhelming. There are so many things to think about and remember and that’s where I come in. I’m not your average photographer, I am here to help! I always scout out locations and do my research of the area. I help create itineraries and will help you with important details and logistics. I am here to help make sure you have a beautiful and memorable elopement ceremony
DO I NEED AN OFFICIANT?
This all depends on where you decide to elope. Some states do require that you have an officiant while others don't require an officiant or anyone else to be present. Here is a list of marriage laws state by state
HOW DO I INCLUDE FAMILY IN THE PROCESS?
​If you want to include family within your elopement, here are a couple of ways
​- Have family members shop with you for your elopement attire
- Have a dinner planned with your family before your elopements
- Have your family be witnesses when you handle the paperwork at City Hall
- Video chat with your family on the morning of your elopement day
- Have a dinner party at some point and do a full walk through of your elopement; photos, experiences, and share what made it so special for you both
IS THERE A SINGLE BEST LOCATION THAT YOU WOULD RECOMMEND FOR AN ELOPEMENT?
I am about to be offering a brand new elopement location, That PNW Cabin. A cozy cabin located up in the mountains of the PNW. This is my newest and favorite location!
Where do you go to elope?
Essentially anywhere! Some people love to go to a beautiful national park such as Mt. Rainier, while others want to go somewhere more exclusive such a Iceland.  Be sure to check laws for your specific area to see if there are any restrictions!
do you have advice for writing vows?
Writing your vows isn't always easy and can leave us stumped on what to say! I am sure that you have searched and found some simple guides, but those may not help you create the meaningful vows that you want. The biggest thing to remember when thinking about your vows is that there is no wrong way to write them. Your vows are between you and your loved one so they should be unique and personal to you. Here are a few things to help you get started:

- Write the vows to celebrate the love between the both of you
- What is it that drives you to love? What do you want to promise and commit to your loved one?
- Think about from this moment and then into the future. What is life going to be like years from now? Think about the challenges and joys you will have together as a married couple
- Talk about your significant other. The qualities they have, the experiences you've had togethers, and what you love most about them

WHERE ARE YOU BASED? DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS AND ELOPEMENTS?
I am based mainly in Seattle, WA - the beautiful PNW. I love to travel and had the opportunity to travel through 6 continents while capturing amazing moments for couples in love, professional brands, and with family & friends. I offer my photography services in SC, WA, OR, and throughout the PNW. I also offer wedding packages and elopement packages in other countries such as my Iceland Elopement package.
DO YOU TRAVEL OVERSEAS TO OTHER COUNTRIES?
I love to travel and adventure to other countries. I offer my photography services throughout the U.S. and other countries. I even offer an all inclusive elopements package in Iceland.
WHAT DO WE WEAR FOR PHOTOS?
​This is completely up to you! You can dress up in wedding attire or go more casual for adventure couple photos. Wear something that makes you feel confident, comfortable, and something that feels special for this moment.
