ANDREW + KELLY
I absolutely love doing engagement photos in Charleston. It's a city with such a rich history and lots of unique places to use as backdrops. One of my favorite spots is the Angel Oak Tree, known as "the most beautiful tree in the world". I met up with Andrew and Kelly at the oak tree on a gorgeous afternoon for their engagement session. We also went to the coast of Johns Island for some rural, beach-y vibes. These two were so fun to spend time with. Have look below to see their sweet love.
VISIT JOHNS ISLAND, SC
Johns Island is just a stones throw from Charleston. It's home to the Angel Oak Tree. This stunning piece of nature is thought to be 400-500 years old, stands 66.5ft tall, has a circumference of 28ft, and produces shade that covers 17,200sq ft. It's longest branch from tip to tip is 187ft! It is truly a majestic site and makes for a perfect photo location. There are also plenty of water activities such as fishing, kayaking, and even dolphin watching.
